Kid: “WAIT!”
Teacher: “What?”
Kid: “WE… WE WON THAT?!”
Class: “…”
Me: “No, [Kid], we did not win the Revolutionary War. We are still a British colony, and we constantly have England telling us what to do. Would you care for a spot of tea out by Big Ben?”
Kid: “So… we didn’t?”
Teacher: *sighs* “Yes, [Kid], we won the Revolutionary War.”
Kid: “…Wow.”
