Gets Darker Organically

(We are currently being taught how to close security loopholes in websites. It’s a small, informal class.)

Teacher: “Now, most incursions are motivated by profit for the hacker. There’s usually money involved.”

Friend #1: “So what you’re saying is, the best defense is to not have money.”

(Everyone laughs.)

Me: “Don’t forget, [Friend #1], if you still have organs, you’ve got money.”

Friend #2: “Well, that went to a dark place real quick.”
