For Every Additional Kid You Have, You Should Arrive That Much Earlier

I am at the zoo with my kids. It just opened, and the parking lot is already pretty full, but I’m lucky enough to find a spot close to the entrance. I am unloading everyone and getting the kids in the wagon, along with all our belongings, when a car stops by us. 

Woman: “Are you all coming or going?”

Me: “We just got here.”

Woman: “Shoot!” *Pauses* “Hey, would you mind giving us your spot?”

Me: “Pardon?”

Woman: “Can I have your spot? I have more kids than you.”

I stare at her for a moment.

Me: “So, you want me to reload my kids in my car, put all our stuff and the wagon back in, and find a new spot, just to unload it all again?”

Woman: *Huffing* “You could have just said no.” *Drives off*
