Food Is Tasting More Processed These Days
(I am the co-founder of a small Italian restaurant. One day, my mother asks me for my ravioli recipe. I email it to her, and a couple days later I come home to find this. Mother throws in whole container of strawberry cream cheese. Literally, even the plastic container.)
Me: “What are you doing?”
Mother: “It says five oz. of cheese, and this is a five ounce container.”
Me: “It means cheese like parmesan. And definitely not strawberry! And DEFINITELY NOT the plastic container.”
Mother: “Well, how was I supposed to know that ravioli doesn’t have plastic in it?”
