(I am the homeroom parent for my child’s third grade class. I go to assist with an end-of-year party and stumble upon students who are playing with magnifying glasses outdoors. I start to panic it seems they are actually capable of starting fires.)
Me: “[Teacher], [Student] has started a fire with the magnifying glass! The Hershey’s Kiss has a flame at the top of it!”
Teacher: “Great, that means the experiment is working!”
Me: “…”
