First-Class Decency
(I am sitting in my balcony seat waiting for a concert to begin. I have flown over from another province to see this band, as they are my favourite, so I’m quite excited. A man comes up to me as I am waiting.)
Man: “Are you here by yourself?”
Me: “Yes.”
Man: *hands me a ticket* “Here’s a sixth row ticket. I have an extra. Enjoy yourself!”
(I stammered a thank you and teared up a bit. Thanks to this kind stranger I had a MUCH better view of the band and had an amazing time that I will remember forever.)
