File This One Under Stupidity

(I’m asking my Mom to send me the list of people we had invited to my older sister’s wedding, because now I am getting married.)

Me: “Can you mail or email me the list?”

Mom: “I can’t email it to you, but I can print it out and scan it and then email it to you.”

Me: “Print it out? You mean it’s already on the computer?”

Mom: “Yes, but it’s in my Outlook program.”

Me: “You mean the EMAIL software program?”

Mom: “Yes.”

Me: “So…why can’t you email it to me?”

Mom: “It’s in a folder!”
