Fantastic Beasts And When To Find Them

I worked at the visitor center for the national park and got asked that clichéd tourist question from a family:
Dad: “What time do the bears usually come out, because my children want to see one?”
Usually at this point I take a moment to look into the eyes of the tourist to determine if they’re joking. Sadly, about 95% of the time, they are not.
Me: “The bears, like all the animals here, are wild, and sightings aren’t guaranteed.”
Dad: “Obviously, I’m not asking for a guarantee!”
Me: “Oh, good, because—”
Dad: “—I’m asking what time they come out!”
Me: “There isn’t a schedule.”
Dad: “That’s honestly not helpful at all!”
