Eyes And Nose Come To Blows

(My fiancé and I are lying in bed before falling asleep for the night. It’s worth noting we’re always a little loopy and easily amused late at night. I lean over to kiss his arm right as he shifts position and he ends up accidentally elbowing me in the nose. I cry out in pain but start laughing at the same time because the situation was just so ridiculous.)

Fiancé: “Oh, my god, I’m so sorry! Are you okay?”

Me: *laughing* “Yeah, babe, I’m fine. I know it was an accident.”

(Later, I sling my arm across his chest and see him, eyes still closed, start to lean forward to kiss it.)

Me: “NO!” *snatching my arm away* “This is how we hurt ourselves! Everyone’s eyes must be open and attending to the task at hand before you put your mouth on any part of me!”
