Explosive Softball

(We are playing softball in gym class. One student is just picking up the ball and immediately throwing it away in a random direction.)

Teacher: “[Student], pick up the ball and throw it to the right base. Don’t just chuck it like it’s a grenade.”

Me: “I like that quote. Can I post it online?”

Teacher: “Yes.” *pause* “But not during class.”
