Expectorate Consequences
I’m having lunch in the mall. I look over and see a woman walking past with her son. The son proceeds to hawk a loogie on the mall floor, and then his mother smacks him upside the head. Thinking that was all there was to it, I go back to eating my burger, and the boy goes back to walking, but the mother has stopped.
Mom: “Where do you think you’re going?”
Kid: “…”
Mom: “You made a mess; you pick it up.”
Kid: “With what? I haven’t got no napkins.”
Mom: “You got sleeves, don’t ya? Wipe it up?”
Kid: “That’s gross!”
Mom: “And spitting on the floor isn’t? Animals leave behind their gross s*** like that, and I did not raise an animal. You clean that up right now or you’re walking home.”
She made that boy wipe up his spit using the sleeve of his shirt. He’s making ‘eww’ noises the entire time. Gross, but I bet he won’t be doing that in the mall again (at least while mom is around).
