Evidence That You’re Watching Too Many Of Those Shows

(My older sister and I are watching a murder mystery show when she ends up falling asleep little halfway through. It’s nearing the end when our mom comes in to tell her that her manager is on the phone.)

Mom: “[Sister].”

Sister: “…”

(Mom walks over and shakes her awake.)

Mom: *shouts a little louder* “[Sister!]”

Sister: *bolts awake* “EVIDENCE! EVIDENCE!”

(My mom and I had to take a minute to compose ourselves before she realized what she had said.)
