Everything Else Remains At Arm’s Length

(My boyfriend and I have custom designed and ordered a guitar from the southern US. After months of planning and waiting, it is being shipped to us. My boyfriend has been checking the shipping tracking number every day to watch the progress.)

Boyfriend: “She made it to Ohio yesterday. Got back on the road this morning early.”

Me: “Yay! She’ll hit customs today and be in your arms tomorrow!”

Boyfriend: “She’ll be in my hands. My arms are for you. It’s different!”

Me: “I just melted. I love you!”
