Coworker: “Tonight’s your first closing shift, right?”

Me: “That’s right. I’ll remember all the stuff I was trained on, don’t worry.”

Coworker: “Cool! Also, you’ll be working with E.T. tonight. Just ignore her.”

Me: “E.T.?”

Coworker: “Yeah, that’s her work nickname.”

I start my shift, and am introduced to my coworker with the nickname. About an hour into the shift:

Closing Shift Coworker: “Uh, this sucks! I want to go hoooooome!”

Ah… I get it now.
