Engendering A Gender Swing

(I’m watching a movie with my girlfriend, who despite being gorgeous, acts like a teenage boy most of the time.)

Me: “You’re beautiful today. Really beautiful.”

Girlfriend: “Aw. That’s sweet. Shut up, though. This bit’s really cool.”

Me: *laughs* “You’re such a guy sometimes. Lucky for me you’re a guy in the body of a supermodel. And that’s why I adore you so much.”

Girlfriend: “And yet, I have to put up with all this mushy crap. Being a guy sucks.”
