My 6 year old daughter was dancing around and jumping all over the place as we walked away from the store we had just been in. I see a person with a white cane approaching, and he can hear her, and hesitates. I pull her to the side and ask her to stand quietly and let the man pass.
Man: Thank you
Me: Sorry, she wasn’t watching where she was going
Man: Neither was I!
We all had a good chuckle and went our separate ways.
