Draw The Line At Literal Observations

(For one of my classes, our professor shows the movie ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ after class. We are at the part of the movie where the young couple has gotten married and the town is now having the party to celebrate. Due to their faith, the men and women are separated with a rope stretching across the room. One man in the movie has declared he does not think this is right, brings down the rope, and steps over onto the women’s side. It’s at this moment my classmate says one of the greatest things I have ever heard.)

Classmate: “Guys, he literally just crossed the line.”

(It must have taken at least two to three solid minutes for all of us, including the professor, to stop laughing.)
