Don’t Sell Yourself Short

| Friendly | October 15, 2015

(I’m a young female that’s always getting unwanted attention from males, and I’m getting a bit tired of it. One day, my car won’t start so I hop into my dad’s car to go to school. While waiting at a red light, a group of young, rough-looking guys pull up beside me and leer.)

Young Guys: “Heeeeey.” *looking me up and down*

Me: *ignores*

Young Guys: “How much?”

(I’m insulted, thinking that they think I’m a prostitute and are asking what are my fees! I give them an icy frigid stare, and their grins fade and they look a bit confused. The light turns green and I zip away into the parking lot of my school. While getting out my things, I notice that my dad has put a ‘For Sale’ sign on his car that I didn’t notice before! Maybe they were talking about the car? If so, oops.)
