Don’t Lettuce Down

(My sister has just gotten a sandwich from a sub shop.)

Sister: *picking off tomatoes* “Ugh, I hate tomatoes. I always pick them off.”

Me: “Then why did you order them?”

Sister: “What?”

Me: “You get to literally pick what to put on your sandwich. Why did you ask for tomatoes?”

Sister: “Because saying ‘lettuce and tomatoes’ sounds better than just saying ‘lettuce.’”
