The Broken Doorway To Your Initiation

(In my work in the stockroom, I regularly use a walkie stacker, which is like a cross between a forklift and a pallet jack. It’s kind of an unofficial initiation into the stockroom to damage something by accident with the stacker. The lintel of one doorway has a chunk of drywall missing and more hanging loose for this very reason.)

Coworker: “I don’t understand how anybody could hit the doorway.”

Me: “It’s easy. What you do is have a long night, put up a pallet, and then forget to lower the boom when you take the machine through the door.”
