Going Through A Stage, On Stage
(My dad is walking down the hall when he hears my four-year-old sister crying loudly in the bathroom. Alarmed, he rushes over and opens the door.)
Dad: “Sweetheart, are you all right? What’s wrong?”
(My sister immediately stops crying, and smiles sweetly at him.)
Sister: “Oh, hi, daddy! Nothing’s wrong. I’m just practicing!”
(My sister graduated from high school last week, and received a gold medallion for Outstanding Achievement in Performing Arts.)
