(We are doing a utopia project where we have to create an ideal society. We are in groups of four, and one member of my group is particularly annoying. When this happens, we are debating whether or not to include religion in our society.)
Idiotic Classmate: “No religion!”
Me: “Why not?”
Idiotic Classmate: “Every war in history was caused by religion!”
Me: “That’s not true.”
Idiotic Classmate: “Really? Name one.”
Me: “The American Civil War.”
Idiotic Classmate: “Which was caused by…”
Me: “Slavery.”
Idiotic Classmate: “Which was caused by…”
Me: “People being a**-holes and kidnapping each other!”
