Harry Potter And The Parents Of Book-Ban

(My school is a very small and decidedly non-religious. I am in fourth grade and an avid Harry Potter reader. The mother of a classmate visits our classroom with the principal and sees my Harry Potter book. She immediately storms out.)
Mother: “Heathens! I demand you ban this book of witchcraft from the premises of this school instantly! How dare that child corrupt this school! I demand the brat be no longer allowed to speak to my child!”
(She continued yelling in this fashion all the way down the hallway with the principal following, who was trying to hold back his laughter. The books were never banned.)
