Doing Some Good Going Out Of Business

| Working | January 24, 2017

(The following takes place at a store that’s going out of business, and everything must go. It is the last day for this store, and we still have lots of stock left over that are next to impossible to sell, such as accessories for very obsolete phones, obscure kitchen gadgets, and unfashionable clothing.)

District Manager: “If you give me five dollars, you can have everything in this store!”

Customer: “Really?”

District Manager: “Yep. Just TAKE IT ALL!”

Customer: “Okay! Sold!”

(This confirms it: people really will buy anything as long as the price is right, even if they don’t want or need it.)
