Doesn’t Understand The Custom Part Of Customer, Part 32
A customer has just finished ordering two footlong subs.
Customer: “Do I have to pay for these sandwiches?”
Me: “This is a [Chain Sandwich Shop], you do have to pay.”
Customer: “But it’s turkey.”
Me: “…okay, and?”
Customer: “Turkey is gross.”
Me: “But you still need to pay for it.”
Customer: *Sighs.* “If I knew I’d have to pay for it, I would have ordered something good!”
The customer pays and leaves with her ‘gross’ sandwiches, while I look up and behind me at the menu to make sure our turkey subs have a price next to them like all the others, and not “free because gross, lol”.
