Doesn’t Quite Suffix The Problem

(My daughter is about to turn 16 and is looking for jobs. She is filling out an application online and has to ask about a few of the boxes.)

Daughter: “What does “suffix” mean?”

Me: “Um, you know, like Jr. or Sr.”

Daughter: “Oh, okay. I’ll put sophomore.”
