Doesn’t Everyone Just Hang Out Stacking Shelves For Funsies?

At my old job, we wore these bright blue sweatshirts with the company logo back and front, as well as a name tag, also with the logo.

I was stacking shelves one morning and dropped an empty box. An older man picked it up for me.

Me: “Thank you!”

He looked at me for a bit and then asked:

Man: “Do you work here?”

I didn’t have a witty answer, unfortunately.
