Doctor Who Was That One Again?

(My mom has started watching a British television show. Knowing I love another, she tries to get my attention. I always joke that there’s no more than ten actors in Britain.)

Mom: “Was he on Doctor Who?”

Me: “Nope.”

Mom: “He played an evil guy, didn’t he?”

Me: “No, I know he didn’t.”

Mom: *refers to a group of people in the next scene* “How about them?”

Me: *without looking* “Nah.”

(For one second, I glance at the TV.)

Me: “Oh, wait… She was in an episode.”
