Do Not Underestimate The Power Of The Cookie

(We are in art class, and we have a visiting prospective student who isn’t really interested in art. My art teacher is trying to talk him into taking her class. It is worth mentioning that she had also handed out Girl Scout cookies to her classes earlier that week.)

Art Teacher: “Do you like art?”

Visitor: “I’m not good at art. I take band and play soccer.”

Art Teacher: *laughs a little, as she is forever dealing with students who think they’re not as talented as they really are* “Do you like Girl Scout cookies?”

Me: “Come to the Art Side. We have cookies.”
