Divorced From The Pants
(My boyfriend and I have a friend who is going through a divorce, and confiding in us about how unhappy he has been lately.)
Friend: “We were fine up until we got married, and then she started taking charge all the time. It shouldn’t be like that! She shouldn’t be the one wearing the pants in the relationship. I shouldn’t be the one to wear the pants either. NO ONE SHOULD BE WEARING ANY PANTS!”
(He realized what he had said when we burst out laughing, and then he laughed, too.)
