Demonizing Your Coworkers

(I work in the psychology department. [Coworker #1] is rather mean and never smiles. [Coworker #2] is known for being a merciless jokester. This takes place around Halloween at the faculty Halloween party. [Coworker #1] is not wearing a costume, and is dressed in a red shirt and jeans.)

Coworker #1: “They should really have a better Halloween party. This one sucks.”

Coworker #2: *walks in wearing a red shirt, jeans, and a demon mask*

Coworker #1: “What are you even supposed to be, [Coworker #2]? That’s one of the stupidest costumes I’ve ever seen.”

Coworker #2: *smiling sweetly* “Isn’t it obvious? I’m you, [Coworker #1]!”

Coworker #1: *turns red and storms out*
