Death Hug

(I’m at a relatively small anime convention. It’s my first time going to one, and my first time cosplaying. I’m dressed as Ryuk from ‘Death Note,’ and I’m trying to find my friend, who I’ve lost in the crowd, when I run across a very large group of Narutos.)

Naruto #1: “Hey, Ryuk! I love your costume.”

Me: “Thanks.”

Naruto #1: “Can I hug you?”

Me: “Okay…”

(She hugs me.)

Naruto #1: “Can I sell my soul to you?”

Me: “Uh, I don’t think I can…”

Naruto #2: “Can I give it to you for free!?”

(Thank you so much, Narutos! I was grinning for ages afterward!)
