(I’d just umpired a football match at night and am quite cold, so I decide to stop for a hot drink on my way home. I find a place that has hot drinks on the menu, but it’s getting toward their closing time.)
Me: *to Worker #1* “Could I get a large hot chocolate, please?”
Worker #1: *to Worker #2* “Is the coffee station still open?”
Worker #2: “No, I’ve sanitised it already. We can only do hot chocolate.”
