Darted To The Wrong Assumption

| Working | July 19, 2017

(I’m the customer in this story. My girlfriend and I are buying dart guns. Before we leave, she looks at the Father’s Day cards since it’s coming up. I am in my early 30s and my girlfriend is in her late 20s. We are checking out.)

Me: “Did you not get a card?”

Girlfriend: “Nah, didn’t see anything I liked.”

Cashier:  “They never care about them anyway.”

Me: “Excuse me?”

Cashier:  *indicating the dart guns* “Kids. They never care about the cards. You probably don’t even need to wrap these.”

Me: “Lady, these are for us.”

Cashier:  “Oh.”
