(I am passing notes with a friend during social studies, and I am telling her about one detail of a book that I have been reading. The social studies teacher notices and comes over.)
Teacher: “What are you two doing?”
Me: *frantically* “Uh, uh, TEACHING!”
Teacher: *sarcastically* “Teaching?”
Friend: “Yeah, she’s teaching me!”
Teacher: “About what?”
Me: “CONDOMS!”
Teacher: “…What?”
Friend: “Condoms in the fifteenth century!”
Teacher: “So, it’s history related?”
(We both nod frantically.)
Teacher: “Okay, continue.”
(She walked away.)
