Cloudy, With A Chance Of Proving Customers Wrong
I’m bagging groceries, glancing out the big front windows.
Me: “Man, I hope it doesn’t rain. I don’t wanna get caught in that…”
Customer: “Oh, it’s definitely not going to rain. I just checked a few minutes ago.”
A FEW MINUTES LATER:
Rain: *Absolutely pours down.*
Customer: “Aw, c’mon! What happened to ‘the customer is always right’?!”
Yes, he was kidding around, and honestly, it made my shift a lot brighter, even if the sky wasn’t.
