Christmas Or Bust

(It’s getting close to Christmas, and my mother and I have gone out earlier in the day to do some present shopping. This happens after I’ve stopped to look at the gifts we bought. Let it be known that I love wrapping presents, and it’s probably one of my favourite parts of Christmas.)

Me: *turns to my mom and talks in a hushed, excited voice* “I get to wrap presents soon!”

Mom: “What?!”

Me: *normal voice* “I get to wrap presents soon!”

Mom: “Oh. For some reason I thought you said something about breasts…”

Me: *same excited voice as before, making grabbing gestures with my hands* “I get to wrap breasts soon!”
