Catch A Flight Or A Cold

I used to work for a travel agency doing cheap tours to other countries. A customer who booked a flight and hotel package with us called us fifteen minutes after her flight should have taken off:

Caller: “Hello, yes, this is [Customer Name] calling from the airport.”

Me: “Shouldn’t you be in the air by now?”

Caller: “I decided not to go on the plane because someone had a cold, and I wasn’t prepared to risk my life going on holiday. I’ll be expecting the full refund by the end of the day. If I can’t go on holiday, I can at least go shopping.”

She was not very happy when I explained to her that would not be happening…
