Ask For Frogiveness

(I am a nine-year-old girl. My dad has parked next to my mom in driveway so closely that she has to back up so that I can get in. I go around to the side and wait for her. She backs up slowly and then I get in. We run errands, and then come back and she puts at the edge of the driveway. I look down and I see a smashed frog.)

Me: “Mom, look, this frog. I think you ran it over earlier.”

Mom: “Oh, gross! Ewww!”

Me: “Look, it has a tire track on it. And its guts are hanging out through its mouth.”

Mom: *disgusted* “Oh, God! Don’t look it at; just hurry up and get inside!!”

Me: “But you smashed him! Say sorry!”
