But It’s A Very NICE Scam…

I have a coworker who is so incompetent that the entire office collectively wonders how on earth he hasn’t been fired. This, however, was a new low.

The coworker in question sent me an email, asking me to set up a new vendor in the system. Luckily, he hadn’t filled out the form properly, so I Googled the company to find their webpage. To my shock, all the top Google results invariably claimed that the vendor in question was a scam. I emailed the coworker back, telling him what I’d found.

His response? Their website looked nice, so they must be legit, and he still wanted to buy from them!

Luckily, our boss, copied on the email chain, told him in no uncertain terms to find another vendor.
