Building A Civilization On Venison

(A friend and I are playing a computer game where you play as a civilization and try to beat everyone else. We are on the same team together against AI players and I have just discovered that you are allowed to build on your teammate’s territory. I am attempting to confirm it by building a mine in one of my friend’s forests which happens to have deer.)

Me: “Let’s see what happens when I build a mine here. I’ll have to cut down your forest though.”

Friend: “Aww, where will the deer go?”

Me: *shrugs*

Friend: “Ah well, they can move into the city, then. They’ll be city deers. People will keep them as pets, haha.”

Me: “Yeah, why not? Free food!”

Friend: “Fr- Aw. AW, that’s awful!!”

Me: “Wha- I MEANT FOR THE DEER. LIKE, THEY DON’T HAVE TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES ANYMORE.”
