Broaching The Subject

(My fiancé and I are laying in bed. My fiancé is also both a woman and from the south. Neither of us have said anything for around 10 minutes.)

Fiancé “I’m gonna take you to the Super-Walmart.”

*silence*

Me: “That was the most redneck thing you have ever said to me.”

Fiancé “I don’t even know why I said that. I was just thinking of the shiny jewellery I saw there today, and I just A.D.D.’ed out.”
