Bringing Up An Awkward Subject

(My friends and I are hanging out, talking about anything and nothing. I randomly start reflecting out loud during a lull in the conversation.)

Me: “So, you know how you have some memories from your past, where something awkward happened that was completely inconsequential in the grand scheme of things? Like, didn’t impact anything, probably no one even remembers it, but sometimes you’ll think about it, and you just wanna die of embarrassment anyway? I hate those moments.”

Friend #1: “Oh gosh, those.”

Friend #2: “No, no, don’t remind me of those!”
