Brainpower, However, Has Not Yet Been Restored

I am working in the PR department of a small local hospital. My main gig is IT but I am helping with a website migration.

One day, they decide to test the emergency power. This means all regular power goes off and emergency power kicks in.

We are told to shut down all computers and wait for word that the test is over.

After about an hour of drinking coffee, we see the main lights go on, but we receive no word. Another fifteen minutes later, I decide to be a rebel and fire up my PC.

After logging in, I am greeted by a chat message on the internal message system. It is from IT. 

IT: “It is now safe to turn your PC back on.”
