Boys Like More Than The Red Sox

| Related | December 6, 2013

(I am working maintenance at a church that has a day-care. A six-year-old boy runs up to me. I notice he has no shoes on, but is wearing pink socks.)

Me: “Pink socks? Where are your shoes?”

Boy: “Do you like my socks? Boys can wear pink too! Pink is a boys color!”

(The boy runs out the door that leads to a dirt path. Less than a minute later, a girl slightly older than the boy comes running down the hall. She is not wearing shoes or socks.)

Girl: “Have you seen my little brother? He’s wearing my socks!”
