Me: “No, ma’am. It’s made in-house. The name just indicates the style of the cheesecake, not where it’s from.”

Customer: “Oh, so it’s not authentic then? That’s disappointing.”

Me: “I can guarantee you that a slice of cheesecake made here, in-house, using fresh ingredients will be orders of magnitude less disappointing than a slice made thousands of miles away and then transported in.”
