Beware THAT Bat Signal

(Two coworkers and I are folding blankets. Coworker #1 leans down to store them in one of the lower cabinets. Her shirt rides up enough to show the top of her underwear.)

Coworker #2: “Woah, [Coworker #1]! Nice lacy panties! Aren’t they a little uncomfortable though?”

Coworker #1: “They’re a h*** of a lot better than a string up my a**!”

Me: “And, anyway, not all of them are uncomfortable. There are some panties with really soft lace.”

Coworker #2: “So what are you wearing, [My Name]?”

Me: “Batman!”

(There’s a pause before both of them burst into laughter.)

Me: “No, seriously. They have the Batman logo on them.”
