Our store is closed, but a woman trots on in — past a big A-board sign saying our opening hours.
Me: “Sorry, ma’am, we’re currently closed.”
Customer: “Then why was the door unlocked?”
Me: “It has to be unlocked when people are in the store due to fire regulations.”
Customer: “But there are no people here!”
Me: “We also count as people… ma’am.”
