Baggage About A Lack Of Baggage
Our store has run out of bags (multiple mega-sales combined with supply issues) so we are trying to explain this to customers. After hours of this being “personally my fault” I am losing my customer service smile:
Customer: “I need a bag! Where are your bags?!”
Me: “I am sorry, sir, but we have run out.”
Customer: “Well get some. How hard is it?”
With a calming silence coming over me, I dump the trash out of my checkout lane’s trash can, and hand it to him.
Me: “You’re right, it’s not that hard.”
I got in trouble, but it was so worth it to see the look on that guy’s face.
