(Even though the students in the class all know each other, we undergo an exercise where we state our name and a fact about ourselves.)
Student #1: “I’m [Student #1] and I’m graduating in the fall.”
Student #2: “I’m [Student #2] and I own a car.”
Student #3: *very glumly walks up and with a smile on his face* “I’m [Student #3] and I’m an alcoholic.”
(Fortunately for him we all knew he was joking – evidenced by our teacher spending the next minute laughing.)
